During this period, all religious activities, rituals, and temple visits are restricted.
Temple Closure Notice Naimisharanya
As per religious customs:
Temple doors (Kapat) will be closed from the beginning of Sutak (around 1:00 PM, 7th September).
Temples will reopen only after the end of the eclipse, usually after morning purification rituals and Mangala Aarti on 8th September (around 4:00 AM).d
Important Note for Devotees
Devotees are requested to plan their temple visits accordingly. On 7th September 2025, darshan will remain suspended from 1:00 PM until the morning of 8th September, after the purification rituals are completed.
